Archive 4: Cupidon medallion
Location found: The abandoned chapel, made by the old goldsmith.
Beside the abandoned chapel stands a bronze cherub, forever missing his golden arrow. That arrow is a relic said to guide its finder toward eternal love.
One day, the old village goldsmith, panning for metal, finds that very arrow resting in the stream that runs past his cottage. Having already known eternal love but now walking alone as a widower, he melts the arrow down, pouring it into a Medallion mould so that its blessing might pass on to a new wearer.
Hand carved and then casted in silver and 9ct gold, the cupidon medallion has been hand made and finished from an original clay prototype. The same mould is used to create each piece but due to the hand made nature of the design each will be slightly different and therefore unique to you.
These pendants each have a hand made bail attached to the piece, ready to hang from your favourite chain. The outer diameter of the jump ring measures 6mm, inner diameter is approx 4mm.
Each pendant measures approx 2cm high x 2.5cm wide, with a total length of 2.4cm inc attached jump ring.
Listing is for 9CT gold.
All pendants are made to order, so please expect an approx 6-8 week wait from order to delivery.
