Archive 5: Eclipse pendant

Location found: Under the river bridge,in the stream feeding the moon pools.

At dusk, when the day settles and as the maiden from the village crosses the bridge with her basket, she scattered more than just stars into the stream.

This eclipse pendant unites a fallen crescent moon and a wandering star, held together by a single rivet of metal. On Vesper Isle, both gold and silver relics compliment eachother, mirroring the dichotomy found in the wearers heart, and helps them compose with all alspects of their personality. 

Hand carved and then casted in silver and 9ct gold, the eclipse pendant has been hand made and finished from two original clay prototype. The same mould is used to create each piece but due to the hand made nature of the design each will be slightly different and therefore unique to you. The pendant is composed of two elements, riveted together to create a single piece. It can be styled differently, worn open or closed. 

These pendants each have a hand made bail attached to the piece, ready to hang from your favourite chain. The outer diameter of the jump ring measures 6mm, inner diameter is approx 4mm.

Each pendant measures approx 2cm high x 1.5cm wide, with a total length of 2,4cm inc attached jump ring.
